In one of our major on-site projects, we were responsible for setting up and deploying a dedicated Windows Server environment for a mid-sized organization. The goal was to transition from a basic workgroup setup to a fully managed Active Directory Domain infrastructure. During the process, we faced multiple challenges — including mismatched hardware compatibility, unstable power supply, and improper client-side system preparation. We resolved these issues by updating firmware, securing clean power through UPS setup, and preparing all client systems with proper network configurations and static IPs. We implemented Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security hardening, configured DNS and DHCP roles, and created OU-based user groups for centralized management. The successful deployment resulted in a faster, more secure, and scalable IT environment, empowering the organization to manage its operations with enhanced control and reliability.
